Christmas Day
Thanks so, so much to all our family for being so generous with us and our kids. We are so thankful for all of you! We hope you all had a blessed Christmas!
Cupcakes for Jesus' Birthday!
Isaac loves to "cook". We had a great time making cupcakes for Jesus' birthday!
Isaac was introduced to licking the mixing utensils. Yum!
Decorating the cupcakes.
Cupcake anyone?

Gingerbread House
Aunt Fibia (or as Isaac says, "Fibeeba") invited us over to make a gingerbread house together! We had so much fun spending time together, and hope to do this again next year!
Decorating the house with candy. As you can see, the boys liked eating the candy while decorating the house.
The finished product. Can you tell boys decorated this house? Right after I took this picture, this happened to the house . . .
We tried. Even though the house collapsed, we created a fun memory! Not to mention the house was quite tasty! Thanks Aunt Fibia, William, Joseph, Andrew, and Jonathan for having us over!

Christmas outfit, #2
My friend Debbie lent me this little dress with the matching cape. Her daughter Naomi's birthday is almost exactly one year before Abigail's, so Naomi's clothes fit Abigail really well! Speaking of birthday's . . . Abigail is 5 months old today!
This was the only way I could get her to pose so that I could see the dress without the cape. She was not so cooperative this time around!

Christmas outfit, #1
Yes, Abigail has more than one Christmas outfit. Her family and friends are very generous : ) This is her first one that mommy bought her (on sale!). The headband was her sister Rileigh's. I love that Abigail is able to wear her sister's "hand-me-downs" . . . it is such a wonderful reminder of God's kindness and faithfulness to us!
This pose was very difficult to capture as Abigail kept rolling off the pillow . . . on purpose.
Notice her new mary jane tights? I thought they were too cute.
More Christmas outfit pics to come, per Abigail's continued cooperation.

Brandywine River Museum
On Saturday we went to the model train exhibit at the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford. Our friends the Johnstons and the Goodsells were able to come with us.
David, Isaac, and Jake all sat on a bench looking at all the trains for a very long time!
Isaac became very excited when he saw trains that he "knows" like James, Toby, and Salty.
Thanks Johnstons and Goodsells for a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving!
On the way home we stopped by Aunt Wendy's house to say hi to all the Jackson's. In this picture, Isaac is playing with his double second cousins (???) Nathan and Caroline. Caroline played so nicely with Isaac, making sure he knew where all the toys were, and that he had some of the yummy chocolate covered pretzels. Who knew that a 2 year old could be so hospitable?
Happy Thanksgiving!
We headed to Grandpa and Grandma Patton's house for Thanksgiving dinner. My (Lindy) parents, two sisters, and my brother Chris and his family were all able to be there. The meal was wonderful, and Isaac really enjoyed spending time with his cousins, aunts, uncle, and grandparents! Isaac also enjoyed playing with all of the toys that are at Grandma and Grandpa's house, including the doll you see in the picture. Isaac was so caring with this doll, changing the diaper , and feeding the baby doll a bottle. I thought it was so sweet, but Keith was slightly embarrassed.
Abigail with her Auntie Mia. (Its not Mia's fault Abby is crying . . . she was hungry and tired (Abigail, not Mia) ) There is no doubt in my mind that Abigail is going to love spending time with her two auntie's, just like her brother Isaac does. The girls are so great with all their nieces and nephews!
The whole fam. (minus Dad/ Grandpa who was taking the picture, and Curtis' family)
