Abby Jane's gift to Isaac

Abby got Isaac a new train, one of Thomas' friends, Toby. Isaac was very excited about getting Toby and kept thanking Abby for his present.

Isaac is a big brother

This is the first time Isaac laid eyes on his little sister.
His first time holding Abby Jane
Doesn't he look excited!! (thanks Jess for this great picture)
Mommy loves her big boy. Isaac wanted to get his "snuggles" in with Mommy while he was visiting her in the hospital.

2008 . . . day after July 4th at OCNJ

Isaac and daddy on the fake Thomas the Tank Engine ride. It fooled Isaac well enough, he had a good time, but I think by the looks of the picture that Keith had an even better time.
Isaac and his Nana on the elephant ride.
We finished our day with Kohr Brothers ice cream. We drove home hoping that Abigail wouldn't make an early entrance into the world. I was 3 cm and 50% effaced at this point, but my back was feeling good, so I wanted to go to the beach. Thanks Grammy and Pop-Pop for inviting us down.

2008 . . . Owen Daniel: welcome to the world

This is David's little brother who was born in June. We all went to the hospital to say hi. Isaac's gift to Owen was a "pal", which, if you know Isaac at all, is near and dear to his heart. Maybe Owen will share the same affection for his pal as Isaac does. Congrats Dave, Sarah, and David on the new addition to your family.

2008 . . . Betterton beach

This is a great beach we found that is only 30 minutes from our house(it is where the Sassafras and North East Rivers meet at the Chesapeake Bay; there may be some other rivers too, I didn't check the map). These are two good shots of Isaac having fun with his daddy in the water.

2008 . . . fun times with "da-dee"

David is one of Isaac's good buddies (he calls him "Da-Dee"), and they have a unique way of making each other laugh, as you can see. This night our friends were babysitting for us while we went on a date and they took these wonderful shots.

This is David and Isaac at Nathan's 1st birthday party (notice the blue lips on Isaac, he wanted to keep playing in the pool, but we had to entice him out with a piece of cake before he suffered from hypothermia).

2008 play group trip to the Middletown Fire House

Isaac wasn't so sure if he was enjoying driving the fire truck.

more pictures from the zoo

Isaac up close and personal with a sea lion

If you ask Isaac what he did at the zoo, this will be his response "I toucha the sheep, and the goat".

2008 so far . . . trip to the philly zoo

The treehouse was Isaac's favorite activity of the day (climbing through tree trunks, frog eggs, and up the tree)
