Big yawns.
Dozing for a few minutes.
Pop in the binky, and she's out.

Four Weeks Old
Here is a good shot with Abby Jane on her stomach, and as Isaac would say, "she opded dee eyes!!". She is changing every day it seems.
more pics from family day
We got our favorite pizza, chicken BBQ from Peace-A-Pizza. As you can see, Isaac was pretty excited.
Abby had her usual.
GREAT pizza, we recommend it highly.
Isaac's cars joined us on the blanket. Here is a good shot of just a few of them ("The King", "Guido", "Lightning McQueen", "Fillmore").

Family day on the mall at the University of Delaware
We packed everyone up on another beautiful Saturday and had a family picnic on the campus of UD. This a beautiful mall area with lots of grass, trees, and shade.
Family shot.
Isaac found a tunnel to run through. He and Daddy are always on the look-out for tunnels to run through and make lots of noise in. They like to yell the names of their favorite trains like "James", "Thomas", "Henry", etc.

rainbow
After a wicked summer thunderstorm, there was a very cool rainbow outside that Isaac was able to see and comment on the "cadoors" (that's colors in Isaac talk). Sorry, this picture isn't great.
Grotto's
After playing hard on the beach until almost 7 PM, we all went to Grottos for some pizza. Isaac was very hungry, as you can see both cheeks are jam packed with pizza.
Lewes, Delaware
We love living only fourty five minutes from the beach! After Isaac's nap we drove to Lewes beach and met our friends the Johnstons', VanBerkoms', and Goodsells' down there. Abigail seemed to enjoy her first beach day!
Isaac loves to go in the water with his Daddy, even when the water is really cold!

date night on the deck
Since Abigail was born we haven't been able to go out on our regular date night, so instead of going out, Keith set up our beach chairs on our loft deck; he also lit citronella candles, played music, and bought some wine for us to enjoy.
That white dot is the moon.
Right before we sat down to enjoy the evening, Abigail woke up and joined us on the deck. (that is her bouncy seat to the left)

Isaac's first baseball game
Isaac and Daddy shared a big soft pretzel and soda (Isaac has discovered soda and likes it too much)
David was there which made the night even more special for Isaac.
Keith and Isaac brought back cold treats for the three of us to enjoy!!

Sunday afternoon nap
Abby Jane was really tired after her first day at church. (Thanks Uncle Kevin, Aunt Jess, and cousin Campbell for the cute dress!)
Family time Sunday afternoon
Today was such a beautiful day, Keith got a pizza for us and we all hung out in the back yard. Love these summer days.
Abigail meets Owen . . .
These two are three weeks apart and met each other for the first time this past weekend. (Owen is David's little brother).
More fun with "Da-Dee"
David got Isaac a new Cars book that they enjoyed reading together when David came over this weekend.
Cranky is one of David's new Thomas the Train toys. Isaac was very excited about learning how to use Cranky with the other trains he has.
