Beach Day!

Despite struggling with bad colds, we managed to get out one Saturday to the beach. We hit the outlets to get a few summer clothes for the kids, ate Grotto's pizza (yum!), and took a very cold walk on the beach.

The pizza was really good!

We had a great day!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Abigail, Isaac, and I (Lindy) are all sick. Abby got sick first with the croup last Friday night, which has now progressed to a bad ear infection. Thankfully, Isaac and I only have cold symptoms (stuffy nose, sore throat etc. . .). Though I am grateful that we do not have anything worse, we are all feeling miserable from our symptoms, and consequently our lack of good sleep. Keith called in some reinforcements yesterday (thanks Mom J!), so I was able to get some rest and make chicken noodle soup. It turned out pretty good, except I can never get the noodles to remain firm . . . they always get mushy. I don't know if the soup will contribute to our recovery, but it never hurts to try : ).
